According to a report in the Mumbai Mirror, four years after her debut production, Bombay Talkies, an anthology celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema that featured works of Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee, producer Ashi Dua is back with another collaborative effort. “It won’t be called Bombay Talkies 2 for sure,” she points out, adding that the tentative title is Love and Lust, which is also the theme of the second instalment.
“I went back to all the four directors but I was ready to asked other filmmakers had any one from the original line-up had turned me down. But they immediately agreed and I couldn’t be happier,” she says. While Bombay Talkies was screened at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival two weeks after its Indian release on May 3, the second instalment is expected to hit screens by the year-end or early next year.
Can’t wait to watch the new instalment!
